my daughter turns 8 today.
8! i am now imposing my ban on her getting any older.
i still remember going to the hospital at 5am with her mother that tuesday and then about 12 hours later cutting the umbilical cord and now seeing a real, live baby that was mine.
since then, it's been an interesting and amazing time...
