yesterday was a day of receiving presents apparently. first off, when arriving at work, and looking out at the parking lot from an office, someone left us a pair of hearts in the snow...
next up is something that's not quite a present, but something i find incredibly interesting to look at:
finally, i received a package from someone in meadville. turns out, it was a mix cd from mike! i immediately put it in my car's cd player to listen to on my way to my soccer game that evening. well, to make things short, it was nothing less than fantastic!
the cd was a great mix of some songs i have heard before but had forgotten about and some new artists i hadn't heard of before. i can't say there was one song i didn't enjoy on the cd. the last track was an unexpected change in genres, but a welcome change. i've already begun checking out songs by some of the artists on the cd.
it makes me want to rush out and donate to the march for babies again this year (shoot, payday is friday, gonna have to wait a day). knowing that you can get a killer cd from mike is huge. i wish i had $1000 to donate to get a picnic from mike, because if he can make a cd that awesome, just imagine the kind of picnic he could throw.
